病毒可以说是人类历史上另一只”看不见的手”，不离不弃，行影相随。
人类与天花病毒的恩怨超过三千年。第一例受害者，据说是死于公元前1157的埃及法老拉美西斯五世，即使被做成了木乃伊，科学家仍发现了天花的痕迹（也可能正是因为木乃伊，痕迹才保存下来）。此后三千多年中，天花夺走了超过十亿人的生命。死亡率超过30%，儿童的比例甚至更高。由于得病的幸存者具有终身免疫力，所以有些地方，父母只给被病毒”拣选”过的孩子起名字。还有一个国家，连皇帝都是这样选的，毕竟龙颜诚可贵，国祚价更高。

这周去商场买了几个小书架，$35一个，很简易，但总算给书安了家，书君们不用再席地了，了却一桩心事。
每次搬家，书都是我最头疼的问题。到澳洲来，只带了一百来本书，挑的过程十分纠结，有些书想必就此永别了。王安石悼念早夭女的诗云：
今夜扁舟来诀汝，死生从此各西东。
对人如此，对书亦复如是。

《忏悔灭罪金光明经冥报传》 | 书评
搬家到澳洲，物品主要走海运。从物流上看，是北京——上海——悉尼——墨尔本，到了本地转到AusPost，就是澳洲邮政，几十个箱子，分了几批送来，目前还有几箱未到。
昨天到了两箱书，我打开一箱翻了翻，找到两本书，《金明馆丛稿二编》和《读书札记三集》，这是三联出版的陈寅恪作品集中的两部，因都与读佛经有关，我几年前就买了来。这套书遵照作者生前意愿，全部采用繁体竖排印刷，读起来有些吃力，然而兴致所驱，倒也津津有味，虽然邮费不菲，也带了来。澳洲图书馆虽多，中文书却相当少，自己的每一本书，都很珍贵。
《金明馆丛稿二编》二九〇页有一篇，题为《忏悔灭罪金光明经冥报传跋》，发表于一九二八年。文章只有三页不到，信息量却很大。
